The Junior ITF Tournaments are two international under 18 tournaments taking place annually. (www.itftennis.com) The Maties Tennis Club, University of Stellenbosch, has been the host of the Junior ITF series since 2012, welcoming players from 20 countries. Caylix Sport aims to keep this series in our area for many years to come. At the beginning of 2013 Caylix Sport took ownership of the two events with the Stellenbosch Academy of Sport as the title sponsor, and Le Roux Conradie, CEO of Caylix Sport, acting as the Tournament Director since. Curro Holdings came on board as the title sponsor in 2015 with SAS as the Accommodation Partner. During early 2015, The Tennis NPC was established. This entity is a non-profit company, founded by a few individuals who are passionate about tennis. The trustees, Rob Benadie, Altmann Allers and Carl Roothman had the specific goal of growing SA tennis by organizing international tennis events with Caylix Sport acting as the appointed event organizers. Any profits earned through these events go towards tennis development programs.

2015 saw the first Futures Tennis Series in the Boland in over 25 years and Stellenbosch is proud to have been the host to these prestigious events. For four years, up until 2018, we hosted the very successful $15 000 Digicall ITF Futures series.
With the various changes in tennis, these Futures tournaments are being replaced by Transition Tour Events and the first of these are planned for February 2020.
The facilities of the Stellenbosch University are of the highest standard and we have a world class accommodation partner in the Stellenbosch Academy of Sport.
With the these tournaments coming to SA, we can provide our local players with the opportunity to get some international experience on home soil.
